Mount Pleasant is just north of 16 Avenue NW (the Trans-Canada Highway) and Rosedale, with Confederation Park wrapped around its north and west sides. It was established in 1912 and mixes older character homes and bungalows with newer infills on tree-lined streets like 22 Avenue NW.

Confederation Park covers 160 hectares, with a golf course and the Lions Festival of Lights each December. The community has one of the City’s few remaining outdoor pools and the North Mount Pleasant Arts Centre, and cafés and shops along 4 Street NW and Centre Street are close by.

Who Tends to Love It Here

Mount Pleasant tends to suit buyers who want inner-city living with lots of park space, people buying or building an infill, and anyone who wants to be close to downtown, SAIT and the Alberta University of the Arts.

Mount Pleasant Real Estate Market

The benchmark prices below are CREB®’s own community-level figures for Mount Pleasant wherever CREB® publishes one; any home type without enough sales this month uses the City Centre district instead, and months of supply and the sales-to-new-listings ratio are district figures. These are CREB®’s published figures, not my estimates. If you want to know what homes on a particular street have actually sold for, ask me and I’ll pull the recent sales.
