Life in Saddle Ridge
Saddle Ridge runs from Airport Trail in the north to 80 Avenue NE in the south, between Métis Trail and Stoney Trail. Most of the homes were built from the mid-2000s on. Saddletowne station opened in 2012 as the end of the Blue Line, so you can ride straight into downtown.
Saddletowne Circle is the shopping hub. The Genesis Centre in neighbouring Martindale is a 225,000-square-foot community hub with two indoor field houses, a YMCA and a Calgary Public Library branch, and Saddlecreek Ponds and Bear Park add playgrounds and pathways close to home.
Who Tends to Love It Here
Saddle Ridge tends to suit buyers who want CTrain access without inner-city prices, families who want schools from kindergarten to Grade 12 nearby, and people who work at the airport or in the northeast industrial areas.
Also in north and northeast Calgary: Coventry Hills and Livingston. Comparing family areas? Have a look at my guide to the best Calgary neighbourhoods for families.

Saddle Ridge Real Estate Market
The benchmark prices below are CREB®’s own community-level figures for Saddle Ridge wherever CREB® publishes one; any home type without enough sales this month uses the North East district instead, and months of supply and the sales-to-new-listings ratio are district figures. These are CREB®’s published figures, not my estimates. If you want to know what homes on a particular street have actually sold for, ask me and I’ll pull the recent sales.
