Life in Seton
Seton sits directly south of Auburn Bay and east of Cranston, with Deerfoot Trail on its west side. It was started in 2018, but some of its biggest amenities came first: the South Health Campus hospital opened in 2011.
The Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton opened in 2019. It has a 50-metre pool, a water park with a lazy river and waterslides, a FlowRider surf simulator, two ice rinks, a 200-metre track, a 250-seat theatre and a Calgary Public Library branch. The Green Line CTrain is planned to serve Seton in the future.
Who Tends to Love It Here
Seton tends to suit people who work at the South Health Campus, buyers who want a newer condo or townhouse with big amenities close by, and families who’ll use the YMCA and library every week.

Seton Real Estate Market
The benchmark prices below are CREB®’s own community-level figures for Seton wherever CREB® publishes one; any home type without enough sales this month uses the South East district instead, and months of supply and the sales-to-new-listings ratio are district figures. These are CREB®’s published figures, not my estimates. If you want to know what homes on a particular street have actually sold for, ask me and I’ll pull the recent sales.

What’s at the Seton YMCA?
The Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton opened in 2019. It has a 50-metre, 10-lane pool, a water park with a lazy river and two waterslides, a FlowRider, two ice rinks, three gyms, a 200-metre track, a 250-seat theatre and a Calgary Public Library branch (City of Calgary).
What do homes in Seton cost?
CREB®’s October 2026 benchmark prices for Seton are $321,600 for apartment condos and $717,700 for detached homes. I’m happy to pull recent sales for the homes you’re looking at.
Is it a buyer’s or seller’s market in Seton?
In October 2026, detached homes in the South East district had 3.16 months of supply and a 57.01% sales-to-new-listings ratio (CREB®).
