Life in Evergreen
Evergreen sits in Calgary’s far southwest, just south of Fish Creek Provincial Park, with Stoney Trail on its edge. Fish Creek Boulevard splits it in two: Evergreen Estates to the north, started in 1986, and Evergreen to the south, started in 1999. Each has its own community association.
Schools inside the community include Evergreen School, Marshall Springs School (Grades 6 to 9), Dr. Freda Miller School and Our Lady of the Evergreens Catholic School. There’s no CTrain, but a transit line on 162 Avenue has been planned.
