Life in Edgemont
Edgemont is in northwest Calgary, between John Laurie Boulevard, Sarcee Trail, Country Hills Boulevard and Shaganappi Trail. Building started in 1978, and the community grew in stages, from Edgemont Estates and Edgedale to Edgebrook and Edgeridge. Much of it sits on a northwest extension of Nose Hill, so many streets have views of downtown and the Rockies.
The Edgemont ravines run through the community, with about 35 hectares of pathways, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts and natural areas. Nose Hill Park is right next door.
